Difficulty with the lights switch on and off . Even though if is fully charged sometimes it doesnot turn on .

Handy, easy to use, good images and they can be saved directly to phone and tranferred to patient files. Good secure carry case.

The DE-400 has solid build quality made of aluminum and glass. Image quality is also very good and comes within the same league as a Dermlite DL5. The Dermlite DL5 is still noticeably sharper, however DL5 is also about 10x the price. It is not great to use ergonomically as a general dermatoscope since it has to be attached to a phone to function. For photo dermoscopy it works great and it is easier to use than attaching a Dermlite DL5 to your phone. I would recommend this for anyone thinking of doing photo dermoscopy, even if you already own a Dermlite or Heine Delta scope.

Disclaimer - I have not tested the DE-400 regarding its accuracy in rendering polarised specific white structures.

Overall great product and shipping was fast via DHL express. Service was excellent with quick responses to inquiries.
